ATEILIER MAROLLES
Jean Touret founded Atelier Marolles in 1946-47 in the village of Marolles, France with a group of craftsmen: M. Vion (metalworker),
M. Leroy (woodworker), M. Leflohic (weaver), Jean Touret and M. Gold, (ceramists). Their collective collaboration and selective techniques, allowed them to create a new model of innovative furniture. The premise and identity of their work revolved around the notion of a minimal universe and incorporated the use of natural materials such as wood and metal.
