During the post war period, the dramatic industrial expansion in France produced an excess of materials such as metal, copper and brass. These materials became an economic and common material for use among artists of the time, as Philolaos Tloupas, Costa Coulentianos, or Alain Douillard. This industrial innovation gave rise to a new voice in the art world and revolutionized and elevated, through these new materials, the perception of form in sculpture and design.
